The season of Christmas is past, the snow is melting into ugly clumps, and the best of New Year’s intentions may already seem faded away. Take heart, remember that today is the first day of the rest of your life. With faith you can have a new beginning, the courage to make changes, the strength to go another day. Indeed, we believe in a God who makes all things new! So seize the day. Our world needs people who are just and compassionate, people willing to speak the truth in love and willing to do the right thing. Rev. Martin Luther King’s life is an inspiration and a legacy of faith. Come on Sunday to be challenged, to grow, to be inspired, to sing praise and to pray together. Join us Sunday morning as we celebrate Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr Day with a special service of readings and songs reflecting King's work, life and ministry. The children will have church school as well.
