Dear Church Family –
On these long June days, when the evening light lingers, I hope that you are able to go for a walk or sit outside and enjoy the beauty of this place and this time. And I hope that in this time of growing awareness of racism and white privilege, that you are listening and learning. And I hope that in this time of pandemic, that you are living fully each day and its gifts.
So many different times at once it seems – a time of fear and a time of hope, a time to wait and a time to act, a time to listen and a time to engage, a time of grief and a time of healing.
We will explore our time on Sunday by reflecting on the ancient words from Ecclesiastes 3 “For everything there is a season . . . “ With our wonderful church member and dear colleague, the Rev. Constance Moser offering the meditation! Connie is asking that we each have a paper and pencil available for worship.
Please note – NO drive through office hours on Tuesday, June 16th.
I look forward to “seeing” you on Sunday! (via zoom of course)
Please reach out if you need anything, please call each other, please check on your neighbor. Let us be kind, compassionate, patient and gentle with each other and with ourselves.
Be safe, wash your hands! Get outside and breathe fresh air!
And may your faith be greater than your fear today and each day to come.
In the greatest of hope – Lucia
